KITE LANDBOARD COURSES

Landboarding is the boarder's next step on from Powerkiting.

Harnessing the power of the kite in order to pull yourself along the ground on a 4 wheeled landboard.

Once you have the basic skills of  kite landboarding, you can progress to jumping and freestyle tricks, speed runs and slides!

All landboarding equipment and safety gear is provided.

UNDER 12'S MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT

 LANDBOARD BEGINNER COURSE

-Learn how to use your kite as a power source for your landboard.

Duration: 4 hours

Pre Requisites:  IKO Powerkite Level 1 ^{or equivalent skill level.}

Course Content

• Site/weather/safety asessment
• Unpack & setup
• Recap of static flying skills
• Traction flying skills
• Getting on & off the landboard
• Controling the landboard
• Training rig exercises
• Moving and stopping
• Turning
• Keeping position
• Kite and Board maintenance

Price:  $200 +GST per person (min 2 persons on course)

 LANDBOARD INTERMEDIATE COURSE

-Learn advanced landboard riding techniques, toeside, switch, upwind riding and your first landboard jumps!

Duration: 4 hours

Pre Requisites: Landboard Beginner Course^{or equivalent skill level}

Course Content

• Site/weather/safety asessment
• Advanced piloting techniques
• Toeside riding
• Switch riding
• Riding upwind
• Heelside and Toeside turns
• Jump theory
• Kite redirection
• First Jumps

Price: $200 +GST per person (min 2 persons on course)

JUMPING & TRICK TUITION

-Customised landboard tuition to suit your level and riding requirements.

From the basics of jumping and kite redirection, to the latest tricks and combos on the scene today, your skill level will be well catered for.

Duration:  2-5 hours

Pre Requisites: Landboard Intermediate Course^{or equivalent level}
