KITE SURFING COURSES
Kiteboarding or Kitesurfing is an exciting, explosive sport that takes the skills of Powerkiting to another level. You can kitesurf flat water or waves, oceans or lakes. Its fun and progressive, and theres always something new to learn!
Our Instructor is a Qualified Level 2 IKO Instructor with years of experience.
All kitesurf equipment and safety gear provided.
UNDER 12'S MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT
Here at Wind Warriors, we teach a Three x 3 hour session kitesurf course to get you up and riding as quickly, safely and competently as possible.
However, if you cannot make time or afford the course we offer instruction by the hour (min 2 hours) to fit in with your schedule with a view to getting you out there riding as quickly as your skill level allows.
We cannot guarantee you will be up and riding by the end of the three 3 hour sessions as progression depends on the individuals skills and past experience with kites, boardsports or other crossover sports. However it is our experience that 9 hours tuition is usually sufficient for the average student.
Additional Instruction costs $60 per hour

Pre Requisites: Must be able to swim.

- Basic piloting of 2 line trainer on land
- Wind window Theory
- Set up of Inflatable Kite
- Safety systems
- Wind/Weather/Tides risk assessment
- Launch & Land with assistant
- Water relaunch theory
- Piloting in the Wind Window
- Body Dragging in water
- Kitesurf Self Rescue procedures
Day2/3
- Set Up equipment unsupervised
- Body dragging techniques
- Water relaunch practical
- Wind Effects
- One handed piloting
- Upwind Body Dragging
- Water start Theory
- If you achieve all the above ,
- Water starts with the board!!

- Edging
- Accelerating
- Stopping

1 Day INDEPENDENT KITEBOARDER PROGRAM
-After having practiced your Kitesurf Intermediate skills, you will be riding upwind & trying your first jumps.
Duration: 3 hours
Pre Requisites: IKO Kitesurf Level 1 & 2 or equivalent skill level
IKO Level: IKO Kitesurf Level 3 J-N
Achievement: Become an independent kiteboarder
Buy your own equipment
Become an assistant instructor

KITEBOARD REFRESHER COURSE
-Already learnt to Kitesurf but have been off the water for a while? We can assess your level, give you a quick refresher on the points you need to work on, and keep an eye on you out in the water.
We will also accredit you with a Kiteboarder card detailing your personal level.
Duration: 2 Hours
Pre requisites: Already know how to kitesurf
independantly.
